from: You have seen your dreamed digital camera and decided to buy it for your digital photography. And yet there are some things lacking and you went back to the digital store and find what is missing with your set.Most of the specialized equipments used in digital photography can be quite costly and may exceed the budget you have allotted to it. However, there are some less pricey items which you can choose and find a discount to your local stores.
Below is a list of the pieces of equipments used in digital photography, along with recommendations on its usability epecially with amateur photographers.
1. Digital camera. Of course anybody who needs to take digital photographs should in the first place have a digital camera. Many features have already been added sine the first model of digital camera has been released. However, while there have been various models and dozens of choices in the market, you should first think of your core needs. For what do I will really use the camera? Do I need to use it just to take pictures at the party or I can plan joining a photo contest and also study digital photography? Maybe a point and shoot model would fit you better. If your needs are much simpler, you can opt to just buy a camera phone with a decent resolution. 3. Tripod and monopods. You have the difficulty in taking photos and need to have it stable? You will need a tripod to ease your use of the digital camera. It keeps your camera stable far better than your hands can, resulting in clearer images. Aside from the tripod itself, it has accessories like the 3-way pan or the tilt heads, the ball heads and other heads. However, if not necessary, just adjust the image stabilizer feature of your digital camera and it can do the fix.
4. Lighting. If you are working in an image studio, and need the control of the lighting to get the desired photo effect, you will need specialized lighting equipment. If you’re just a point and shoot photographer, you can survive with your camera’s built-in flash.
For the lighting, a good set-up is necessary to achieve the desired lighting effect. You will be needing risers and special bulbs, stands and reflectors. Also for higher equipments and facilities, some have wireless remote flash.
5. Flash and Flash Accessories. Included in flash accessories are Flash Brackets, battery packs, reflectors and diffusers, flash extenders and slave units.
6. Other camera supports. Other camera supports are gimballed mounts, beanbags, window mounts, suction mounts, clamps, focusing rails, subject stabilizers and others.
7. For Image storage and viewing you will need digital picture frames.
8. Camera Straps and Bags. Neck straps, chest straps and harnesses, vests, lens pouches, shoulder and hip bags, camera backpacks, tripod cases and waterproofing while shooting.
